Welcome to the 2014 CHA Operation Warm: Impact Beyond Warmth Initiative!
The CHA is pleased to partner once again with Operation Warm to
distribute brand new, high quality winter coats to children in CHA households.
This includes all current Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher households.
Coats will be distributed on Saturday, November 1st at the UIC Forum, located at 725 W. Roosevelt.
A Resource Fair will also take place on this day with agencies who can offer assistance with
a variety of services and giveaways for the entire family!
You must register on this web page and follow the instructions below in order to receive coats!
This web site will accept applications for coats until all available coats have been requested.
The request for coats on this site will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
You will not need to arrive early at the UIC Forum and stand in line to receive your coats.
Your Last Name and CHA Client I.D. number or the last four
digits of your Social Security Number will be used to identify you,
which is required in order to process your request for coats.
Children listed on your lease born on or after January 1, 2000 are the only household members eligible to receive a coat.
Their names will automatically appear on the registration page.
Please pay close attention to the
a coat size for your child! You will NOT have an opportunity to exchange
any coats after submitting your request on this website.
You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail from CHA giving you a specific time to pick up your coats on November 1st.
You must bring a picture I.D. and your confirmation letter.
Again, you will not need to arrive early at the UIC Forum to stand in line to receive your coats.
Your designated pickup time will be on your confirmation letter.
